This cat is the You can’t scare me I have a crazy uncle who happens to cuss a lot shirt mammal I’ve ever met. He survives the coldest of winters, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc…one tough little guy. We rescued an older feral kitten from under my mother-in-law’s deck about 18 years ago. He never did warm up to people much (except for my youngest son), but he loved our other cats. They both passed away years ago and he was without them for a long time.  You might try what I did for feral cats and kittens.
