So basically, he’s a Pete the Cat Best Teacher ever shirt. Knocks things off tables for attention, “helps” with the laundry, does zoomies around the house. That all sounds familiar. I am so glad she took him back in. Just because the norm says he should go back to the wild doesn’t mean he has to. Clearly, this little squirrel was meant to be with her forever.  This is so true about many animals. Just give them a chance. Never assume that our species is the only one with feelings. Animals have them on a far deeper level. I was wondering with all the good story to have wild animals as pets, it is so lovely and makes me want to do it too.
