He would lick Diamond Cupcake Santa hat shirt, let them sleep with him, they would just bring him out of his shell. I will never forget that cat for that reason. His story had a happy ending because one day he got adopted with one of those little kittens. We got a cat from the shelter that was likely a stray before (based on her behavior, as she would only eat with her back to a wall, etc…) She tried to kill our other cats on a regular basis. Not sure how she would have reacted had they been kittens.
