IDK how people can give up such loyal and selfless animals. I’m going to be the unpopular opinion right now but a lot of the time in these cases the pet does not do well with children. If you’re aware it’d be risky/ dangerous to have a pet who gets aggressive or anxious around a baby then you’d probably have to give up the pet. Babies and kids are loud and take attention. Which can trigger a pet who doesn’t like kids on so many levels?
