Just like humans, animals will tell you when they aren’t happy about something. Unfortunately, too many people own animals and they shouldn’t, they are uneducated and think any growl is a sign of aggression. I just watched a show involving an organization that had gone as far as to amputate a leg on a sweet Christmas only to euthanize him because he growled when they came near his food dish. Why didn’t they just stay away while he ate?  Last week I stopped by a buddy’s house I hadn’t been to in a while before he got there. Two blue heelers cam running up the girl was timid but friendly. The male was not so much he was protective.
