I realize it’s supposed to be satire but I don’t really find it that far from the truth. As a female physician, and my fellow female docs will all agree, we get written up at work all the damn time for ‘being rude’ etc for saying things far less threatening than male doctors. Like you have to gently ask nursing and other staff to do things, or you’ll be told you’re barking orders. Then a male doc will barge through cursing and being completely condescending and everyone goes ‘eh that’s just how he always is.
