It takes about 5 seconds for him to understand that there is no threat, and at that point, he’s in your lap and licking your face and trying to share his treats and toys. He’s an 80lb male pit/Fake Smiling Argentino so the territorial attitude is the expected. Whenever he barks or growls at random people that walk by the apartment, I do not punish him.
