Fixin’ To Shirt

Sadly it’s not just men who don’t accept/respect women in Fixin’ To Shirt. There are women who bristle at or take offense to direction from other women but accept and respect the Fixin same leadership from men. It’s pretty discouraging. At my first “real” corporate job after college, I got in trouble for number 3. My emails were always direct and to the point but the most annoying part? I got in trouble from HR and it trickled down to my manager (who found it laughable) because it was reported by the other women in the office. Apparently, I was perceived as rude and mean and demanding because I didn’t use “sorry”, emojis, and question marks everywhere.
