I’m the proud mother to a wonderful Diabetes Awareness – I Wear Grey For My Uncle Shirt covered husky daughter we adopted the end of March. Someone had her and her sister in a cramped outside kennel from getting them at 6-8weeks until she was diabetes at 8 months. I could not ask for a better companion. She is in training for Service and is excelling at it.  I know it’s not the point but. Direwolves aren’t fictional, they are extinct. Also, I agree always know what you get in a pet and think adoption first! But diabetes and diabetes suck! Go local to volunteer and donate!  I would collect all the Huskies out of shelters if I could. Honestly, I think they are one of the best breeds. They have a personality and they are incredibly smart. There are some great organizations out there. Research your breed. Adopt don’t shop. Love our mini diabetes.
