I have been followed by employees through stores like I’m suspicious and eyed by police officers and white women in elevators who clutch their purses and questioned for being somewhere I’ve never been seen before and accused of “only dating white guys” like I’m against dating someone of my own race and accused of acting white, dressing white, talking white.
